Facility for Part time Research extended to the Librarians of affiliated colleges of the University of Calicut-Order.

To Extend facility for Part Time research for college Librarians and resolved to recommend to include the Librarians of affiliated colleges of the University of Calicut too in the clause of 2.8.2 of the Research Regulation of the University 2016- request of Smt Vineetha Davies V Librarian, St. Aloysius College, Thrissur-Approved- Implemented- Orders issued.

ORDER 

Vide paper read as first above, Board considered the request of Smt Vineetha Davies V, Librarian, St. Aloysius College, Thrissur, to extend facility for Part Time research for college Librarians and resolved to recommend to include the Librarians of affiliated colleges of the University of calicut too in the clause of 2.8.2 of the Research Regulation of the University 2016. 

Vide paper read as second above, the Faculty of Humanities approved the minutes of the Board of Studies to extend facility for Part Time Research for college Librarians and resolved to recommend to include the Librarians of affiliated colleges of the University of Calicut too in the clause of 2.8.2 of the Research Regulation of the University 2016. 

Vide paper read as third above, the Academic Council held on 17-07-2017 resolved to approve the Minutes of the Meeting of the Faculty of Humanities alongwith the Boards of Studies coming under the Faculty. 

Vide paper read fourth above, sanction has been accorded by the Vice Chancellor to implement the resolutions of the Academic Council. Sanction has, therefore, been accorded to implement the resolution of Board of Studies to extend facility for Part Time research for college Librarians and resolved to recommend to include the Librarians of affiliated colleges of the University of Calicut too in the clause of 2.8.2 of the Research Regulation of the University 2016.

Orders are issued accordingly.


Directorate of Research- Rules and Regulations for Research leading to Ph.D.- 2016 - implementation-sanctioned- orders issued.

Include Librarians of affiliated colleges of the University of Calicut too in the clause of 

2.8.2. Teachers of the University / Government or Aided Colleges affiliated to the University/ Govt. or Aided Secondary and Higher Secondary School within the geographical jurisdiction of the University/Employees of the University and holding a permanent position there and are eligible for admission to Ph.D. programme satisfying the conditions of Clause (2.1) may be granted part-time registration.

African Journal of Biological Sciences: A predatory journal in Scopus

 Hello Team RetractionWatch, I would like to report a case of a journal named "African Journal of Biological Sciences".  The journal is index in Scopus at  https://www.scopus.com/ sourceid/21101106407 Scopus does not mention a homepage for the journal nor given a link to the journal. Scopus has calculated CiteScore 2023 as 0.8. All the articles of the journal are indexed in Scopus. It is interesting to note that all the text on the homepage "About the Journal" and "Journal Policies" are images.
